How to read your Swiggy payout report, line by line

Your Swiggy payout is smaller than your sales because commission, fees, GST on those fees, ads and earlier dues come out first. The weekly annexure lists every one of them. Here is where to find it, what each line means, and a real week from a Gurugram dessert shop so you can see how the numbers add up.

What the payout annexure is

Each week Swiggy pays out your delivery sales and sends an Excel file with it, named like invoice_Annexure_….xlsx. It lists the orders in that payout and every amount taken from them. The bank credit alone tells you the total. The annexure tells you why.

You can find it under Payouts in the Swiggy partner app or dashboard. Download the one for the week you want to check.

The lines that decide your payout

Read the file in this order. Each line is a separate reason your payout is lower than your sales:

  • Food salesThe value of the food, before GST. This is the number to compare everything else against.
  • CommissionA percentage set in your contract. On the real report below it was charged on the customer's bill including GST, so 22% came to 23.1% of the food value.
  • Long-distance feesA flat amount on orders delivered from farther away. On the real report below it was ₹35 per order from about 6 km.
  • Swiggy One feesA small per-order amount on orders from Swiggy One members. The real report showed ₹3.72 per such order.
  • GST on feesThe report charges 18% GST on the commission and fees above. It is a cost to you if you are on the 5% restaurant GST rate and cannot claim it back.
  • AdsMoney you spent on visibility in the app, taken from the same payout.
  • Earlier dues recoveredAmounts from past weeks, such as a refund or a cancelled-order adjustment, deducted now.
  • TDSTax deducted at source. It is not a cost: it shows up against your PAN and you claim it when you file your income tax return.

A simple worked example

Take one ₹1,000 order of food, on the 5% GST rate, with a 22% commission charged on the bill including GST. This is a simplified illustration; your contract and fees will differ.

  • Customer's bill including 5% GST: ₹1,050
  • Commission at 22% of ₹1,050: ₹231 (23.1% of the food value)
  • 18% GST on that commission: about ₹42
  • You keep about ₹727 of the ₹1,000 of food, before any long-distance fee, ads or discount you fund

Add a ₹35 long-distance fee plus its GST and the same order leaves you about ₹686. Small fees add up quickly when they are charged on every order.

A real week: 33 orders

With the owner's permission, here is a real Swiggy week from a Gurugram dessert shop, 13 to 19 September 2026. Names and order numbers are left out.

  • Food sales: ₹13,420 before GST
  • Commission: ₹3,100
  • Long-distance fees: ₹315 on 9 of the 33 orders
  • Swiggy One fees: ₹108
  • GST on these fees: ₹634
  • Ads: ₹371

Swiggy kept about ₹4,527, which is 33.7% of the food sales. The shop kept ₹8,892, or ₹66 of every ₹100. The commission looks like one number, but it was only about two thirds of what came out. The same payout also recovered ₹6,381 of earlier dues, which is not a charge on those 33 orders. For a recovery like that, ask Swiggy for the invoice behind it.

What to question in your report

  • Dues recovered from earlier weeks. Ask which orders they relate to and for the invoice.
  • A commission percentage different from your contract. Check the rate on the report against your agreement.
  • Long-distance fees on more orders than you expect. Count how many orders carried one.
  • Ads you did not ask for. The ads line should match what you chose to run.
  • Orders from a separate Swiggy service in the same file. Keep their numbers apart from your Swiggy numbers, because they have their own commission.

Raise any of these with your Swiggy account manager or the partner support channel, and keep the annexure for that week as your evidence.

A five-minute weekly check

You do not need to audit every row. Do this once a week and keep the file:

  • Write down the food sales and the payout credited to your bank.
  • Divide the total of all deductions by the food sales. That is what the app really cost you that week, as a percentage.
  • Note how many orders carried a long-distance fee.
  • Compare the ads line with what you meant to spend.
  • Look for any recovery of earlier dues and ask about it the same week, while the orders are fresh.

After a month you will see whether the percentage is steady. If it keeps climbing, that is the moment to push your regulars to order from your own link instead.

Let the checker add it up

Adding these lines by hand every week is slow. The POSBADA payout checker reads the same annexure on your device, shows what the app kept as a share of your food sales, and lists the fees, the GST on them and your ads. It also works for the Zomato settlement report, and nothing you upload leaves your device.

What the same orders cost on your own link

Delivery apps still bring you new guests. Your regulars can order directly. On your own POSBADA shop link the commission is 0% and there is no platform fee. The checker shows what your own week would have cost on both. For rates across both apps see Zomato and Swiggy commission, or set up online ordering.

Where do I download the Swiggy payout report?

In the Swiggy partner app or dashboard, under Payouts. The weekly file is an Excel annexure named like invoice_Annexure_….xlsx.

Why is my Swiggy payout less than my sales?

Commission, long-distance and other per-order fees, 18% GST on those fees, ads and any recovery of earlier dues are deducted before the payout. The annexure lists each one.

Is the commission charged on the food price or the bill?

On the real report in this guide it was charged on the customer's bill including GST, so a 22% commission came to 23.1% of the food value. Check your own report, because it depends on your contract.

Is TDS a cost to my restaurant?

No. It is tax deducted at source on your behalf and it shows against your PAN. You claim it when you file your income tax return. Ask your accountant how to match it.

What if I see a charge I do not understand?

Keep that week's annexure, note the order or line, and ask your Swiggy account manager or partner support for the invoice behind it.
