How batch and expiry tracking works
When a delivery comes in, record it as Arrived with the batch number, expiry date and quantity. POSBADA keeps each batch's stock apart. At the counter, staff search the medicine and bill it as usual; the software picks the batch that expires first, so older stock moves before newer stock.
Check the expiring-soon list on the Stock screen to act on short-dated stock while there is still time. Voids and cancellations put stock back, and low-stock alerts tell you what to reorder.
Schedule H and H1 sales, recorded at the counter
Mark a product as Schedule H or H1 and POSBADA asks for the patient's and doctor's details before the sale is saved. The details print on the bill, and every H1 sale goes into the Schedule H1 register, which you can export as a CSV file.
Prescription medicines (Schedule H and H1) are never offered on your online shop page. Record-keeping practice can differ, so confirm with your drug inspector what your registers and files should include.
GST bills with HSN codes

Which billing software is good for a medical store?
Look for batch and expiry on every sale, earliest expiry sold first, Schedule H and H1 details, your drug licence number on bills and GST bills with HSN codes, on the computer you already have. POSBADA covers all of these, and your first 3 months are free.
Does POSBADA stop expired medicines from being sold?
Yes. A sale only takes batches that are still in date, starting with the one that expires first. Expired batches, and those expiring within 90 days, are listed on the Stock screen.
How does it handle Schedule H and H1 medicines?
The sale can't be saved without the patient's and doctor's details, which then print on the bill. Schedule H1 sales are kept in a register you can export as CSV. Check with your drug inspector what your records should include.
Can customers order medicines online?
Only products that don't need a prescription. Your shop page can take pickup orders, with delivery if you offer it, and Schedule H and H1 medicines are never shown there.
