What is a KDS?
A kitchen display system (KDS) puts orders on a screen in the kitchen instead of on paper. Tickets appear as soon as an order is placed, stay in the order they came in and show how long each has been waiting.
Dedicated KDS hardware can cost a lot. POSBADA's kitchen display runs in Chrome on a computer, Android tablet or TV you already have: the kitchen login opens straight into live tickets.

What is a KDS in a restaurant?
A KDS, or kitchen display system, is a screen in the kitchen that shows orders as tickets instead of printed KOTs. Each ticket shows the dishes, the table or order type and how long it has been waiting.
Do I need special hardware for a kitchen display?
No. POSBADA's kitchen display runs in Chrome on any computer, Android tablet or TV, including older ones.
Can I use a kitchen screen and printed KOTs together?
Yes. POSBADA can print KOTs and show tickets on the kitchen screen at the same time, so you can switch over gradually.
How does the kitchen know an order is late?
Every ticket has a running timer. It turns amber when the order is due soon and red when it is late, so cooks can see at a glance what to pick up next.
Can kitchen staff see bills or sales?
No. The kitchen login shows live tickets and the ready controls. Bills, prices and reports stay with owners, managers and cashiers.
How much does a kitchen display system cost?

Does a kitchen display need internet?
