What restaurant billing software does

Billing software replaces the bill book and the calculator. Staff pick dishes from your menu, the software adds tax and discounts, prints the bill and records how it was paid. At night you see what came in by cash, UPI and card, without adding up slips.

What to check before you choose

  • Does it print on your printer?Ask to see a real bill and KOT on the printer you own, before you pay anything.
  • Can a bill be changed after it's printed?It shouldn't be. Locked bills and a void log protect you from quiet edits.
  • Will it run on your devices?Heavy software on an old counter PC slows down billing at the worst moment.
